Phil from Split Second Ratings asked me to take a look at quick returners on the AW that had won or were placed in the first 4 on their previous run. Here are the system rules that I applied
Using the year 2012 onwards and the months October to March
- Track - Kempton, Lingfield, Southwell, Wolverhampton and Chelmsford
- Race Type - Claiming, Selling, Maiden and Handicap races only
- Age Restrictions -2-y-o, 3-y-o+ and 4-y-o+ races only.
- Odds - 5/1 or less
- Class Move - Same, Up 1, Down 1, 2 or 3 grades from previous race
- Days Since Run - 2 to 4 days
- Last Run (Finish) - 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th
- Last Run (Track) - Lingfield, Newcastle, Southwell and Wolverhampton
- 2015 - 25 winners from 52 runners (48%) + 36 points
- 2016 - 15 winners from 32 runners (47%) + 22.6 points
- 2017 - 8 winners from18 runners (44%) +9.89 points
