There was only one qualifier for the favourites system (the same qualifier for John Gosden)and it duly obliged, however it went off at slightly prohibitive odds of 4/7. From the stats we saw that favs did well at 7f and 1m2.5f and the results yesterday at these distances were W4/1, L and W4/7

This horse ran in Group company last year and won Group 3 race and I feel that he may well be a class above these, however there is a question mark over him as he suffered from heart problems on his final run last season. If the stable has managed to get him over these problems 15/2 may well seem a very generous price
