Tunis to Fend Off the Irish Challenge at Auteuil

Willie Mullins sends over 3 Irish raiders, including the Triumph Hurdle second Mr Adjudicator but they will find the French home team at the top of the market hard to beat. Wildriver and Lou Bucks are very much on the upgrade but are tackling their first grade one today, while old foes Tunis and Master Dino bring in established form at the highest level and it could pay to side with Tunis today.
Wildriver beat Tunis by 8 lengths in to second in the Prix de Pepinvast in April, with Master Dino a further 4 lengths behind. Wildriver was favoured by the weights that day as Tunis and Master Dino were penalised for wins in higher grade races. There hasn’t been a lot between Tunis and Master Dino in their races, who have beaten each other on numerous occasions, but the manner of Tunis’ last races was impressive, beating Master Dino barely coming of the bridle.
Tunis looks likely to go off the favourite on the PMU, just ahead of Wildriver, so the 7/2 on offer with the UK bookies should be taken. With Willie Mullins great record in this race, if his main hope Mr Adjudicator goes off at a big price he would have to be backed at 6.0+
