Trend/Profile Horses 23rd March 2017
Two very poor runs today and not what I expected from either horse - maybe As De Fer is not what he was as he was in trouble a long way from home. Emma Soda maybe the weight and the bottomless ground played there part but I thought that the heavy ground would suit
No point in dwelling too much as there will always be losing runs that is the nature of this game, however after a 25/1 and 14/1 winner last week we have plenty of profit to play with
In fact today we have three profile horses to follow and over time I will be creating a list of horses to follow when they race under their perfect conditions
20.20 Chelmsford SAVED MY BACON (each way 11/1 SkyBet)
The horse drops into a Class 5 again today and that is one key to the horses profile
- Field Size - 8 runners or less
- Class - Class 5 and 6 only
- Month - February, March and April
- Days Since last Race - 6 to 20 days
Under these conditions his record reads: 111211 (+15.25 points)
15.50 Chepstow LOUGHALDER (each way 7/1 BetFred)
The horse is been backed as I type, he is a mercurial character who can bounce back from poor runs, in fact last time out he ran well for a long way before weakening in the home straight at Uttoxeter and March to May is more his time of the year
- No of Runners - between 6 and 11
- Race Type - Chase races only
- Month - January to May
- Last Race - Between 16 and 75 days
Under these conditions his record reads:111131P114 (+41 points). In March to May only it reads: 111P11
16.10 Ludlow GREY GOLD (win 5/1 Bet365)
The horse has to overcome two poor runs but they can be excused due to the rest pattern between them and I do feel that with confirmed front runners this race may be set up for him
- Distance - 1m7.5f to 2m2f
- Going - soft or heavy ground
- Class - Class 2 and 3 only
- Last race - 21 to 300 days ago
- Month - February to November Race Type - Chase races only
Under these conditions his record reads: 112152121 (+24 points) and when racing 21 to 26 days after last race: 1121.
