Ratings Overview Selections Newbury

Lets take a look at the top 3 or 4 rated today and see if we can unearth a couple of winners

Newbury

14.30 Rainbow Dancer 118 Oceane 115 Havana Beat 106

Rainbow Dancer is up in grade today, he is well rated but I want to try and get this one beaten. I feel this is poor value and we should chance on something else

Oceane comes in rated 2nd today. I will ignore the All Weather form, and in doing this we are actually getting a slightly better price, as this will be where the "Crowd" are likely to look first. The Aw form looks very poor in my opinion, however I am not interested in this. Also with Ryan on board Rainbow, this looks to be the second string.Oceane has some solid form in the book, this all culminated with him starting @ just 5/2 for the Cesarewitch Trial Stakes. If this horse turns up here 90% then he is a contender.

Havana Beat looks outgunned here, he will surely be set easier tasks in the future, he could be played as a bet to lay

Champagne Champ(102) Could run a sound race, he looked full of promise when he bolted in @ Ffos Las, he followed that up @ Haydock. This horse finished well in front of Oceane in the Trial race, I just wonder if Oceane had gone over that day.

OCEANE looks the safetest option if we remove Rainbow Dancer. I will go on the assumption that the selection was over the top when he flopped CTS race @ Newmarket in September.

15.05. I really like Raheen House here, this comes in with a decent rating @ 124. This looks the horse to beat here so this writeup can be short and sweet. If it drifts do not back it, they are the rules I always adhere to

I will just stick to these 2 today, the rest of the card looks a bit tricky. I will give a mention to the Frankel filly Mori It would be lovely to be given a positive on her, as she could be very smart. We just do not know how fit or forward she is. The market will be a good guide, if she drifts avoid her
