I have had another look at the profiles and have come up with the 3 main stats that all the last 9 winners have followed
- Position Odds Forecast - First 4 in betting
- Age - 5-y-o to 6-y-o
- LR Position - 1st, 2nd and 3rd
NEON WOLF
The horse is up in trip and has been impressive winning last 3 races and does go on this ground
BACARDYS
Won a Grade 1 over 2m2f and runs as though trip will suit finished 3rd in the Bumper last year. Ground should not be an issue
MESSIEL DES OBEAUX
Beat Ballyandy and gave Keepers Hill 8lb when he was beaten by that horse so useful form and likely to be hard to keep out of the frame
CONCLUSION
The front two in the betting are a little short and I will go with MESSEIL DES OBEAUX (EW 11/1 Bet365)
CONSUL DE THAIX deserves a mention as I do feel that this trip is what he needs and the yard have started this meeting in decent form worth a small ew saver at 14/1 with Bet365
14.10 Cheltenham RSA CHASE
There is only one horse left after using my profiles and that is
O O SEVEN (EW 18/1 Stan James)
Outsider of the Henderson trio but there were excuses for his Doncaster defeat and the drying ground is certainly in his favour (GTS: 1211)
I have not included the Coral Cup and Fred Winter as once again I felt that there was too much backfitting, adding extra criteria just to decrease the number of shortlisted horses. You can see that the above two races have only a few criteria
