Prix Six Perfections and Prix de Psyché at Deauville

Prix Six Perfections, 1.20 Deauville

The undefeated Mission Impassible has looked something special in her two wins to date. She won her maiden under a cosy hands and heels ride before a smooth last to first on the bridle move in the Prix de la Ville de Trouville-Sur-Mer.

Everything has gone smoothly for this Jean Claude-Rouget trained filly, by Galileo out of the group one winning sprinter Margot Did. She currently hovers around 2.2 on the PMU, unfortunately there doesn’t seem any bookmakers putting up prices apart from Racebets who go 2/1 the filly, and this seems a fair price. It’s possible with several UK runners in this race you many get bigger come race time with either the bookmakers or on the Exchanges.

Richard Hannon seems keen on his horse, Model, who is also by Galilieo, she is undefeated in her only outing. Model hovers around 17 on the PMU and she has to be backed at any double figure prices come off-time.

Prix de Psyché, 1.50 Deauville

Turf Laurel, Onthemoonagain and Vue Fantastique all ran in the Prix de Diane on the 18th of June. The race is usually quite rough and this year was no exception with Vue Fantastique suffering quite severe interference and Onthemoonagain actually ending up on the floor after clipping heels.

Vue Fantastique is still a maiden after 5 starts but I would be willing to give her another chance returning back to soft ground. She travelled well in the Prix de Diane on ground that was probably too quick for her, before meeting interference and although it’s unlikely she would have been involved in the finish, she is better than the 14.5 lengths she was beaten. She finished second to Sobetsu in the group one Prix Saint Alary; that was on soft ground where she had horses like Coronet and Gold Luck behind her. She is coupled with the other Martin Schwartz owned Onthemoonagain on the PMU, currently hovering around 3 for the two runners. Only Racebets have put up prices for this race and she is 13/2 which would probably be shorter than what she would have been on the PMU if not coupled, but it is still tempting.
