Although the horse has not won on good ground he ran a blinder to finish second in the Scottish Grand National leading. I hope that they will try the same front running tactics today as there would seem to be no natural pace setter in the race
14.00 Cheltenham VICONTE DU NOYER (1/2 pt each way 11/1 William Hill 1,2,3,4,5,6)
The horse goes well in these big field events and as yet has not raced below Graded level in the UK. He goes well fresh (121+: 133). Best on GTS and faster so this ground will be ideal today
15.00 Kelso WAKANDA (2pts win 9/2 Stan James)
This is my main bet today and I am quite sweet on the chances of this one beating the fav (whom has to prove he stays). I think that the horse will front run and try to use its stamina to show any weakness in the fav
Has won only visit to this track and record when racing 121 days+: 17 (the 7th was in last years Charlie Hall where he had very little chance and the quality in this race is nothing like Cue Card etc.)
