Day 2 Aintree
I will start by congratulating Dave on 2 wonderful picks yesterday, fantastic. Top Bombing.
I will dodge the 1st race. 14.20 I really like Mount Mews this looks to have been guided here after a complete demolition job last time out. Cheltenham was surely a great move by this trainer to swerve, and instead come here for a decent prize and some good scalps, I fancy this to win this race. He has the lowest Official Rating of the top 3 in the betting, but I think he has the most scope.
15.25 Gods Own has been lightly campaigned, I have a lot of respect for this horse he must surely run well here and he is high on my winners list, but I do really like Sub Lieutenant. I just feel this horse is very close to the Gold Cup standard if he could stay the trip. I cannot get away from this hors, but I am wary after such a good effort at Cheltenham and a long season.This is my idea of the winner, but it is tentative.
