Cheltenham Selections.
I will post up my fancies for Cheltenham. This could be a graveyard, Cheltenham is pretty difficult and it is a marathon not a sprint. 4 days of highly competitive racing. The handicaps look near impossible, so any picks in those will be minimum stakes. I have come to these bets through form, past stats, and speed ratings. No writeups unless I really feel the need, I will not be putting up any odds on shots, unless we can lay them. Lets start the ball rolling.
TuesSupreme Novices. River Wilde Win.. I also think Melon could be a decent lay in this race.
Ultima Handicap Chase. I have this narrowed to 3 runners. Singlefarmpayment. Heron Heights. What's Happening. So that leaves After decs SINGLEFARMPAYMENT as the sole selection
Champion Hurdle. Buveur Dair I think the big 2 in the betting are where to concentrate here Yanworth has done nothing wrong this year, but Buveur Dair travelled so well in the Supreme, he was no match for Altior, he was running on at the finish.
16.50. Bigbadjohn. This race looks pretty tough to say the least. Horses at the top of the market have previously performed very well. So, A Genie in a Bottle, Edwulf, and Beware the Bear all need to be concentrated on, if previous results are to be believed these will be the horses where the winner may emerge.I will stick with my selection, it looks tough
17.30. This is a difficult handicap to target long term, therefore I think it is best to go with an in form horse that jumps well with course form FOXTAIL fits the bill nicely.
