The horse has not raced since finishing 3rd at Kempton and I wonder why the Macaire yard has kept the horse for this race (wonder if the horse has been kept in training in the UK) as this is a long way for a French trained horse to travel. Macaire used to have more English raiders but this horse is its first since 2015.
He ran with some credit in Grade 1 races in France and his best form came with some cut in the ground so todays ground should be more suitable than the good ground at Kempton. Interesting that the stable jockey (J Reveley is back on board today)
