Split Second Ratings

AHPR today Ludlow and Taunton.

The opening race @ Ludlow today looks, without being unkind to any of the horses or owners, poor. This does, on the plus side, and from a betting angle, present a perfect opportunity for MANSION r104 to open his account here today

Connections made a choice to run this horse in a good Newbury race first time out, he was well beaten just over 14 lengths, but that is, clear form that puts him bang in the picture here. I believe it may just pay to forgive that last run, in the hope he comes here focused for the task in hand.

Aliandy r142 looks certain to put in a bold effort here, on his last 3 runs he really has looked like a horse that can win sometime very soon, he is a victim of his hard work as the handicapper keeps putting a few extra lbs on him in the ratings, and although I am not to bothered about the weight increase on the scale, I do worry about class boundaries, he won off 108, was reassessed to 113, today he is 121. The problem connections have here, is if he does not win, but again runs a stormer, will the handicapper then react again and put another couple of lbs on, hopefully he will win today he deserves it, through effort.

Taunton There looks a very good opportunity forTHE UNITr157to get back to winning ways, he has a big rating advantage over the field, I would be hopeful he will put himself in a good position here and go and win his race today.
